FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

Units from the FTVFC were activated after the owner of a vehicle that overturned on Rt 259 stopped at Lt111-3 (Nixon) residence and advised of the accident. Lt 3 responded directly and Attack 111 responded with 3 along with 5 in quarters.

Units were activated for a Crash on Rt 711 just below the station on the New Florence side of Fairfield Hill, near the cemetary. Deputy Chief (Stiffler Jr) responded directly along with Attack 111 to find one vehicle overturned after striking the guardrail.

Crews checked the accident on Hypocrite Creek Rd near Bailey Rd that Attack 111 encountered during there response to the previous incident. Crews again found that there was no one around the vehicle and that there were no associated hazards.

FTVFC was activated for an AED response for an unconscious person on Laughner Rd in FF Twp. Attack 111 responded with 4 as well as 3 additional in station to assist the medic unit. During our response, we encountered a vehicle that was involved in a MVC on Hypocrite Creek Rd near Bailey Rd.

Engine 111 requested to assist Waterford VFD(44) and Wilpen VFD(45) for an AFA on Rudder Rd off of Turkey Inn Rd. However, prior to any units responded Lt 44(Cramer) was on the scene and advising burnt food in the residence.

Seward VFD(47) responded to a large woods fire on the mountain above the reservoir. Multiple units were called into assist due to the very difficult terrain. Attack 111 responded and assisted with filling Team 211 vehicles with water and assisted with staging for incoming units.

New Florence VFD(46) with Seward VFD(47) and Tanker 111 were activated for a chimney fire on Wildcat Rd in St Clair Twp. Tanker 111 responded and arrived as the primary unit. 2 story residential structure that had caught the chimney on fire for a period of time.

Activated for a structure fire on Tantlinger Hollow Rd in FF Twp. along with Bolivar VFC(89) and New Florence VFD(46) for the call. Chief 111(K. Stiffler) responded direct to find a 8' by 10' Chicken Coup that was on fire in the yard of the residence with several chickens escaping injury.

FTVFC units were activated for an ambulance assist for a patient having a seizure at an address on Rt 259 in FF Twp. Crews responded and assessed and stabilized the patient until EMS could arrive. Crews then assisted EMS with extrication and placement in the unit.

Apparently as a result of multiple EMS calls going out at one time, FTVFC units were activated to act as a first responder to a call on Rt 259 in FF Twp. Crews responded emergency and stabilized the patient until EMS could arrive.

FTVFC with Wilpen VFD and Waterford VFD are responding to a MVC on Rt 711 in the area of the Game Commission Building. Units responded to that area, but found nothing. Units checking multiple areas and finally found the crash on Rt 271 at the top of the Mt.

Station 111 activated for an Automatic Fire Alarm at a residence on Rock Ridge Farm Ln. Immediately upon activation, 911 reports a second call from the homeowner directly advises burnt food only, no fire or other hazards.

As the rain continues to come down, a flooded basement is noted at a residence on Bridges Rd. Units responded to find the owner clearing / unplugging drains in his basement and the situation is under control for the time being, FD crews cancelled.

As a result of the Hurricane coming through the area, multiple flooded roadways are being called in. FD crews with Township Supervisors assistance are barricading the roadways as best as possible. Multiple roads closed until the water started to subside.
