FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

For the Third time, crews were sent to Rt 259 near Shirey Rd. Crews re-established the barricades and returned. Another tree down on the Creek Rd was handled by Attack 111. Also a large tree was found on Beauforts Rd, Lt1(Henderson) was on scene and crews responded to assist him with removal.

As a result of the Thunderstorm that went through, FTVFC responded to several trees and wires down throughout the Township. Roads were secured if there were wires involved for West Penn Power to respond and trees that were not involved in wires were cleared.

As a result of a Structure Fire in St. Clair Twp, Tanker 111 was requested to hold a standby position for New Florence VFD(46). No calls were handled from standby, crews were released and returned in service.

Tanker 111 responded to assist New Florence VFD with an AFA in St. Clair Twp. Tanker 111 followed Engine 46 into the scene and then were cancelled by Chief 46 who has a FF on the scene with a false alarm.

During the fire in Cook Twp, crews were placed on standby in FF for Waterford. Engine 111 remained at the ready, but no calls were handled from standby. Crews were released by Official 44 some time later.

FTVFC units were activated for a tree down on Fairfield Hill as a result of the heavy wet snow that moved into the area. Chief 111 (K. Stiffler) removed the first tree on Rt 711 on the hill and Lt3(Nixon) started on an additional tree on the Creek Rd.

During our Monday Night Training night, we were activated with the Rescue Truck from Waterford VFD(44) for a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries on Ross Mt. Park Rd in the area of 387 Ross Mt. Park Rd.

FTVFC units were activated for a station assignment for a structure fire in Bolivar Boro. New Florence VFD(46), Clyde VFD(137) and a tanker from Wilpen(45) were activated for the incident. Chief 89 (Speidel) had the command of a working house fire.

Fairfield Twp VFC was activated for a rock slide on Midget Camp Rd in the Township. As this is a state road, PennDot was also requested to respond. Attack 111 with 3 and several FF's direct, to find several large rocks that had had slid down off of the hillside blocking traffic.

FTVFC units were again activated for the alarm at Ross Mt. Park Clubhouse. Units responded with the caretaker who notified the Security Company to have the system checked again. Nothing found, all units released.

Tanker 111 requested to assist Seward VFD with a brush fire in the area of Rt 711 and Rt 56 in the Boro. Prior to responding, units were cancelled by Official 47 (Seward).

Units were activated for an Automatic Fire Alarm at the Ross Mt. Park Clubhouse. FTVFC units responded and found a problem with one of the detectors. The caretaker and security company were notified and are to take care of the problem.

Tanker 111 requested to assist New Florence VFD(46) with a outside pavilion that was on fire in the Boro of New Florence. Tanker responded and cancelled enroute by Official 46.

FTVFC along with the Rescue from New Florence VFD(46) and an Engine from Bolivar VFC(89) responded to a crash on the Creek Rd near Hirsch Rd in the Twp. Engine 111 responded with a crew of 5 along with Lt Heming to the scene.

Units were activated for an unknown wire across the roadway on Rt 711 near Champion Lakes GC. Capt 111 (Jones) responded direct and a crew of 3 in Attack 111 as well as a crew of 2 in quarters. Capt 111 advised that this is a guide wire only.

Fairfield Twp and Wilpen VFD crews were requested to assist Waterford VFD(44) and Ligonier EMS with a physical rescue of an individual that is injured and approximately 1mile up in the woods and away from an awaiting ambulance.

Units were requested to assist the Medic Unit with a Medical Patient on Tantlinger Hollow Rd in the Twp. Attack 111 and several FF's responded to the scene and assisted the Medic Unit with care of the patient and assistance with extrication from the house on the ambulance litter.

FTVFC was activated for a public service assist for a dog that was stuck in a furtakers trap off of Tucker Dr. in Fairfield Twp. Attack 111 with a crew of 4 as well as several FF's responded directly to find a dog that was quite a way down a gas well road off of Tucker Dr.
