FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

FTVFC units were requested to Assist New Florence VFD(46) and Seward VFD(47) units with a smoke detector activation at a residence on Chestnut St in New Florence Boro. Chief 46 held all units in quarters prior to 111 units responding.

Requested to assist EMS with an unconscious person at a location on Fort Palmer Rd in FF Twp. Deputy 111(Stiffler Jr) and Attack 111 responded and arrived with EMS. EMS provided patient care and FD personnel assisted with patient loading and transport to the Medic Unit.

FTVFC units requested to a scene that involved a tree that had knocked down several telephone wires and an electric line on Ross Mt. Park Rd in FF Twp. Deputy 111 and Attack 111 set up traffic control until the roadway could be barricaded and await the response from West Penn Power.

Station 111 and crews from Wilpen VFD(45) and Bolivar VFD(89) were also requested to assist. Chief 111 responded direct, Engine 111 with 4 and Tanker 111 with 2. We arrived to find a working mid-size pickup truck that was on fire approximately 100ft off of the roadway in a field.

We responded to a tree down on the roadway on Rt 711 just north of Church Camp Rd in FF Twp. Attack 111 responded with 3 and assisted a Comcast Technician who was providing traffic control until our arrival.

FTVFC units were activated alone for a traffic control detail on Rt 711 on Brown's Hill in Fairfield Twp. Deputy 111(Stiffler Jr.) had the command and Attack and Squad 111 also responded to find a vehicle that collided with the embankment and guardrail as a result of the vehicle striking a deer.

FTVFC units responded to an Alarm on Rock Ridge Farm Ln in Fairfield Twp. Engine 111 on the scene with the owner and caretaker of the residence. Unknown what set the alarm off and now the alarm will not reset.

FTVFC units were requested to assist Wilpen VFD (45) with a Structure Fire on Rt 711 in Ligonier Twp. Chief 45 advises that a transformer blew outside of the residence and also a power surge inside the residence causing smoke to fill the residence from an unknown source.

As a result of the rainy days we have had, Rt 711 just south of Midget Camp Rd has become flooded as a result of poorly maintained drains along the roadway. Attack 111 responded and provided traffic control around the incident.

Responding to the same address as the previous incident, units responded for an unconscious person. 2 EMS units were on the scene prior to FD. FD personnel assisted with patient packaging and loading into EMS unit.

FTVFC units were activated to respond for an unconscious male patient on Hamill School Rd. Attack 111 responded and arrived just prior to EMS. Pt is breathing and has a pulse, no need for the AED. EMS now assumes patient care and made the decision to fly this patient to a Trauma Center.
