FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

FTVFC units were activated for a vehicle accident with injuries on Rt 711 just north of the Game Commission building in Fairfield Twp. Wilpen VFD (45) and Waterford VFD(44) rescue and New Florence VFD(46) rescue were activated to assist.

As we were backing into station from the previous call, we were activated for a station response for a smoke in the structure call at the Sheetz in Ligonier Twp assisting Waterford VFD(44). Engine responded with 3 and Tanker with 2 as well as 3 in quarters.

FTVFC units were activated to respond with our AED to a residence on Hartman Rd in the Twp. Attack 111 responded with 4 personnel and arrived just after the Medic Unit. Care rendered by EMS at the scene and FD personnel were released from the scene.

FTVFC units were placed on standby for Bolivar VFC(89) as a result of multiple companies being at a working structure fire in Clyde, Indiana County. Units from St 89 were placed back in service and FTVFC was released from our assignment, no incidents responded to while on standby.

Activated for a vehicle fire on Rt 259 near the Old West School at 0046 hrs in the morning with Station 89(Bolivar VFC). Lt 3 ( Nixon) responded direct to find one passenger vehicle on fire on Rt 259 without any other hazards and no injury to the driver of the vehicle.

FTVFC units were activated to assist Wilpen VFD(45) with our Tanker. Prior to responding, units were held in station and then ultimately cancelled by Chief 45. Burnt food in the residence only. All FTVFC units in service.

While crews were at the fire station doing training and maintenence, one of our own members wives called the fire station and reported a chimney fire at there residence on Tantlinger Hollow Rd. The alarm was activated with crews from Bolivar VFD(89) and an air truck from New Florence VFD(46).

After some conflicting reports from callers to 911, FTVFC units along with New Florence VFD(46) units were sent to Rt 711 just north of our station. Deputy 111 has the command and further updates report that the fire may be in the area of the Wilpen Rd on Rt 711.
