FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

FTVFC responded to the mountain, on Fire Tower Rd for a transformer fire that did not endanger any structures. Engine 111 responded with a crew of 6 personnel to investigate and notify Allegheny Power of the incident.

Dispatched to assist Seward VFC(47) with a brush fire endangering a structure with our tanker. Official 47 and St. Clair Twp PD(4-70) reported a controlled burn. All units cancelled, all FTVFC units in service.

FTVFC units were activated to assist Waterford VFD(44) and Wilpen VFD(45) units with a fire alarm on Canterburry Rd in Fairfield Twp. Engine responded toward the scene. Waterford officials report no obvious conditions at the scene and requested all units hold there position.

In the early morning hours, we were requested to clear the road of a dead tree that had blocked Laughner Rd. Attack 111 responded with Capt 111 direct. 3 cuts of the chainsaw and we cleared the tree.

We were activated to assist Waterford VFD (44) and Wilpen VFD(45) with a Fire Alarm activation on Rudder Rd in Fairfield Twp. Engine 111 responded with 3 personnel with 3 in quarters. Lt 44 on the scene and reports no obvious conditions at the scene from the outside.

FTVFC units along with the Rescue from New Florence VFD(46) were dispatched for a crash on Hypocrite Creek Rd in FF Twp. 911 reports 1 vehicle overturned in a field. Chief 111 direct, Attack in with 2 and 3 personnel in quarters.

FTVFC volunteers were activated to assist Ligonier Twp units with a search detail. The search had originated in Ligonier Twp, however FTVFC units were asked to search a location in Fairfield Twp. Units completed the search in about 2hrs with no results.

FTVFC crews responded nonemergency to a report of wires on the roadway on the Creek Rd. Attack 111 responded with 3, crew of 4 in quarters. Lt 3(Nixon) on scene with wires down across the road, one lane is passable, FD crews set up traffic control to divert traffic around.

After a failed activation by the 911 Center, FTVFC crews remained in station for a kerosene heater on fire inside a residence in New Florence Boro. The Ambulance was on scene and reported that the kerosene heater had been removed from the residence and that there was no spread into the house.

We responded to an AED assist on Rt 711 South, to assist the ambulances for an unresponsive person. Upon arrival with the Medic units, no need for the AED, FD crews assisted with patient packaging and loading into the ambulance.

FTVFC members along with Wilpen VFD(45) were dispatched to a reported car fire in the area of Rt 711 and Knupp Rd. Attack 111 responded with 3, and the tanker followed with 2. Engine 45 went enroute as well.

FTVFC units were dispatched with the medic unit for a patient that was reportedly unconscious. Crews enroute with the AED on Attack 111. Upon arrival, the patient does not need AED care. Crews assisted the medic unit with patient care as well as extrication from the residence.

FTVFC units dispatched to a tree down on Ross Mt. Park Rd near the Highridge water station. Lt 2 Heming enroute direct and Attack 111 enroute as well. Units on the scene with an extremely large tree entirely blocking the roadway and into the electric wires.

While we were directing traffic on Rt 271, squad 111 responded to multiple trees and wires down on Derry Ridge Rd. Trees are tangled in the power lines so Lt 2 Heming gave appropriate agencies the information to cut the power and remove the trees.
