Fall from tree stand

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

While finishing up cleaning up from the carnival, crews heard a crash on Rt 711 at Mt. View Rd. 1 injury at the scene. Crews assisted with patient care and traffic control.

Cleaned up a tree on the roadway enough for emergency vehicle passage on Rt 259 near Zufall Rd. Crews notified PennDot to finish clearing the rest of the tree.

Activated for an AFA - CO Alarm at a residence in FF Twp. FTVFC units responded to find a golf cart that was plugged in and charging in an enclosed attached garage and it set off the CO portion of the alarm.

Tanker requested to respond to the Ligonier Valley High School for unknown type fire, possible building fire. During our response, all tankers were held after investigation finds no building fire. Further investigation was being completed.

Tree down on Mt. View Rd near Clark Hollow Rd. Units removed the hazard, opening it up for any additional emergencies in the area. Units returned in service.

FTVFC units responded to tree and wires down on Rt 259 near the old covode school. Attack and Brush 111 responded to the scene. Rt 259 had to be closed for a short time after it was found that the roadway was completely blocked.

FTVFC dispatched to a person pinned under a vehicle near our station. Deputy 111 (Stiffler Jr.) responded direct, Attack 111 responded with 4 as additional crews arrived with Brush 111. The rescue from New Florence was activated for the assist.

FTVFC units responded to wires down on the Creek Rd near Accident Dr. Units notified West Penn Power and cleared the incident.

FTVFC activated for an AED response at the Fairfield Manor Trailer Court. Attack 111 responded with EMS personnel for the QRS response. Arrived to find an alert and oriented female with breathing problems.
