FTVFC units assisted with a working brush fire on Boone Hollow Rd in Ligonier Twp. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire units activated for a male patient who fell from a tree stand and suffered back pain. No extrication was needed. EMS arrived and assumed patient care.

Station 111 dispatched to the area of 1169 Rt 259 for tree and wires down. Arrival of Squad 111 finds the roadway to be blocked by a tree as well as wires being down. Allegheny power had a rapid response and cut the power.

Station 111 dispatched for a brush fire behind a residence on Robey Ridge Road. Attack 111 immediatley enroute with 2. Arrival of the attack reports fire and report from Deputy 111 on the road of heavy smoke comming across the fields.

We were dispatched for reported trailer fire across from the LV HS at the Stacy's Trailer court. We were requested for Tanker Response only. Tanker 111 with 2 responded. Chief 46 on scene reporting smoke from gas grill appeared as though there was a trailer fire.

Tanker 111 requested to Assist Darlington(42) VFD for a reported House Fire. Ligonier (43) VFD, Wilpen (45) VFD, Waterford(44) VFD, Youngstown(39) VFD, Chestnut Ridge(110) VFD, Latrobe(113) VFD, Team 800 (RIT) all responded to support the efforts.

We were dispatched for a Tanker assist with the Ligonier Twp Companies, Wilpen(45), Waterford(44), and Darlington(42) to an Automatic Fire Alarm. As we were enroute to the station, second call from 911 reports homeowners are on the scene, unknown what set the alarm off.

For our 3rd Monday of the Month Training, we reported to the Bolivar(89) FD to attend our mandatory Haz Mat Awareness Training. 13 members of the FTVFC reported with a total of 55 FF's from outlying FD's were also in attendance.

While on the tree down at Rt 711 and Murphy Road a passerby alerted us to a motorist who was struck by a falling tree. Units temporarily cleared from the Murphy Road incident and responded to the area of Fort Palmer Church on Route 711.

Station 111 was busy in the early morning of Thursday Feb. 12th. At about 6:10am the first call came in for a tree down on Plummer Road in the Township. Squad 111 responded with 4. Tree was cleared and roadway opened.

Station 111 dispatched to Midget Camp Road for a transformer on fire. Multiple power outages were reported in the area. Attack 111 enroute with 2. Attack on the scene with the transformer arcing. No hazards and no lines down.

Dispatched to assist Station 46 (New Florence VFD) with a search detail. Special request for our TIC. Shortly after being dispatched Command 46 requested us to hold in station. Units were held, and then cancelled by Command 46 after the individual was found.

We were dispatched in the early morning hours for a AFA, tanker assist to Wilpen FD(45) to Ridge Rd in Ligonier Twp. Tanker enroute with 2. Additional personnel remained in station. Enroute, Lt 42 on scene with a malfunctioning furnace that set off the alarm.

We were dispatched for an AED response for an infant possibly not breathing. LV EMS was staged at a halfway point for Ligonier EMS and were ahead of FD units. Squad 111 enroute with 2. Upon arrival, with EMS personnel we locate the infant and find him in Cardiac Arrest.

Late afternoon on Christmas day Station 111 was dispatched to a Vehicle Accident on Fairfield Hill. Dispatch is reporting 1 vehicle over the embankment rolled over. Chief direct to the scene, reporting the same and that this is on the New Florence side of the hill.

In the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, a very bad freezing condition happened and the roads were nearly impassable. All units proceeded with due caution. Dispatched to a MVC with unknown injuries at the intersection of Rt 711 and Toby Rd.
